Congratulations to Mr. Kanye West who was recently named in Vanity Fair's "International Best-Dressed Style List".
These are Kanye's words on the results:
I've sat in front of this computer for 20 minutes trying to put into words how I feel... who all to thank... and how to celebrate... this is a true honor and I am humbled by it!!!

Kanye's ability to just be able to throw together some of the pieces like he does, with such swagger, is what I call being well-dressed. He expresses his own feeling in ways which most people would just look like pricks wearing some of the stuff that Mr. West wears.
Some may say that Kanye is big-headed, but no my people, it is swagger, if you don't think that you look good, who else will?!
You gotta give mad props to Kanye for everything he has done for the fashion world, to me, he has widened the horizons on how to dress, and has also given people a roll-model, not to necessarily to dress like that, but to show them that you should be expressive in the way you dress, to have swagger about yourself, and also not to be scared of what people will say or think...hey, who said this fashion stuff would be easy?!

Well, judging by these pictures, it's easy to see why Kanye was chosen to be on this list of fashion royalty:

Well this remix features non other than Jay-Z.
I must say, I couldn't imagine Hova spitting over this beat at first, but he actually makes a pretty good job of it.

CONSEQUENCE - DISPERSE

This is another song off Consequence's album "Don't Quit your Day Job".
I'd say that the album was or is one of the most slept on albums of like...forever.
Consequence has got such lyrical talent and a real smooth flow about him, and he doesn't neccesarily fit the "New York" style of rap...it's a good thing trust me.
The song features GLC and Really Doe, and the videos features cameo's from various celebrities such as:

NIKE+ HUMAN RACE: UPDATE!

A while ago you may have remembered my post that I did on the NIKE+ HUMAN RACE, well here I have a small update on it, featuring Kanye West in an advert for it.
Kanye is actually a funny guy, no matter how arrogant some of you may think he is =]

This is one interview that is not like all the rest, this guy, I forget his name lol, but he has given N*E*R*D (minus Chad) THE best interview I have ever seen...put it this way...he made Pharrell shut up.
I like the way he starts off the interview all annoying and geek-ish...then totally flips the shit around...sick.
This guy must either be a die-hard fan like me, or he did some sick fuckin' research...give mad props to him.

SNEAK, SNEAK, SNEAK OF THE WEEK!

So remember sneak of the week a few weeks ago, and I had the KAWS X NIKE AF1...well this week...its from the same Nike "1World" collection...this time, its Nike teaming up with legendary Hip-Hop 'fro man...?uestlove.
?uestlove has also been famous for being the main man of Hip-Hop group The Roots, whom Scott Storch was the keyboard player for several years.
?uestlove also remixed Pharrell's "In My Mind" album, and aptly renamed it "Out of My Mind".
The shoe features a red and green colourway, and also a green "elephant" print around the shoe, as seen previously on a Jordan III colourway.
The special feature about this shoe is that on the heel of the shoe, it has a silhouette of ?uestlove's head...somethig that I find dope.
The sneak will be released to the public starting August 1st at Alife Rivington Club, August 5th at UBIQ, and August 7th at Undefeated.

BBC NYC EXCLUSIVE SHIRT

So this is the second BBC NYC Exclusive t-shirt this coming Wednesday 30th July at 11am.

Here what we have is every girl's nightmare...you buy a really nice expensive dress...to find out that somebody else has it (shock horror!)
We had this dilemma with 2 celebrities recentley...the 2 celebs were Liz Hurley and Lil' Kim.
They were both wearing a beautiful purple Versace dress (mmm...purple =])
Self-obsessed versace addict Liz was 2 weeks behind ghetto Queen Lil' Kim on wearing this dress...but it's not you wear...it's how you wear it my friend.
Lil' Kim went for some gold to accessorise, with a pair of heels, and showing off her curves (no love handles, surgery perhaps?)
Liz kept things simple with some nice black peep-toes, showing off her curves and also her cleavage (not bad for an old chick eh?)
But the question is...WHO WORE IT THE BEST?

AIR YEEZY BLACK COLOURWAY

A while back, I brought you the article on "THE NIKE AIR YEEZY TO BE RELEASED", and now here I bring you lucky people another article on these oh so sexual sneakers =]
This is the original colourway that he was spotted wearing at the Grammy's and was known as the "Mystery Sneaker", but these are by far the most detailed pics of the black colourway that we have yet.
Kanye and Nike are still keeping a lid on the release date of these sneaks...but I don't know if I can bare the suspense much longer...these trainers are going to be something else, the amount of hype riding on these is immense, and there must be a billion people all holding their breath on the release date of these sneaks, so if you're reading this Mr. Nike or Mr. West (which I doubt!)...

I have also learnt a little bit more about "JORDANDELIZZZARD"...his name is actually Jordan Delisser...all makes sense now :)

As some of you may or may not know, I am a budding producer, and when I stumbled across this video over at ILLROOTS I just had to blog it =]
It shows Henny from the production duo "Tha Bizness" making a beat on his iPhone 3G using the new beatmaker software that has been made especially for the phone.
I think it's amazing how far along technology has came (I'm sounding like my dad now!) but this is truly amazing...anyone with an iPhone 3G (RAV) I'd suggest getting this software...even if you're not a producer...it's still good fun!!!

Here is the first single off Young Jeezy's upcoming album The Recession. The song features a guest spot from Kanye West using an autotuner and was produced by Drumma Boy.
I'm really loving the beat, and Kanye's verse rips it, and since the Lollipop remix Kanye seems to be getting used to the T-pain style autotuner for his voice lol.
What a lot of people don't know is that Kanye is Atlanta born, not Chicago, so it's good to see Kanye and Jeezy hook up on this track together.

OK, this is one thing that I have seriously been waiting for, a few of you may remember the REMIX to N*E*R*D's "Everyone Nose" which featured Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Pusha-T. Well, I have been eagerly awaiting this moment, and here I have some pics which I got from the BBC/ICE CREAM BLOG of the official video shot for the video. Directed by none other than legendary video director Hype Williams. Along with the pics:

SNEAK, SNEAK, SNEAK OF THE WEEK!!!

Ok, so somebody recentley asked me, "Lee, do you only ever post custom sneaks as sneak of the week?"
The answer to that question was NO.
But, as you will see again, I have posted another custom sneak as the sneak of the week.
No particular reason for this, maybe that is just the sneak is see in the week that I like.
So, for all you that don't like me posting custom sneaks, I'd suggest that you click away now.
Just like last week's sneaks of the week, this week's sneak is based around Pharrell Williams (my idol for all of you that don't know).
So these customs where made for Pharrell by JGOODS CUSTOMS.
The ironic thing about these sneaks is that they are customs of Pharrell's own shoe: The Ice Cream Boardflip II (I have 2 pairs :D).
The retail for the normal sneak is around $100 (£50)...these retailed as a one-off sneaker for Pharrell at $1,100 (£550).
Oh, did I forget to mention that the thing about JGOODS is that they make the sneaker how the client wants it...which is pretty important considering its Pharrell.
