DEATH OF VINYL?

Just a quick little subject that sprung to my mind.

In my DJ class we're being taught to DJ using the Pioneer CDJ 1000 Mk. 3

Whatever happened to the good old Technics SL1210???

Is this the end of an era? And if it is; what comes next?

I know a few DJ's that still mix using vinyl, and even they are saying it's getting harder and harder to find records on vinyl , but the biggest fear for me is that these DJ's are real Hip-Hop DJ's!

So is this marking the end of an era within the Hip-Hop music community?

I'M BACK!

Yes people it's the return of LJ!

I've been away for a minute or two; had a few problems over the summer, I'm working on getting over them, but I've finally quit college...

And started a new one of course!

Music every day is just a blessing!

I'm making big moves people, this weekend I've just been out in Rimini, Italy with my good friends at www.likuidnation.com

I'll be reporting that video to you guys soon, I'm also working with a new magazine called Tick

We pretty much specialize in broadcasting people's creative talents, and I am the co-chief editor, but more on that later.

As for now, it's just good to be back blogging after my time out!

SORRY...

For the lack of blogging again; everything just seems to be coming my way all at once!

Of course we have all heard about the sudden tragic death of the great Michael Jackson and I admit; it got me a hella down about it.


On the up hand I guess; I've been accepted to do my music course next year, so the ball starts rolling from here I guess.

I've got some big news coming up for you guys soon...let's just say it's gonna be "G.O.O.D" ;)

There's also the possibilty of a sneaker coming soon but not too much can be said about that because it's only on paper right now.

I've also decided to get a twitter account, and if it wasn't for that my good luck probably wouldn't ever have came my way!

A whole lotta stuff for me to do; just doesn't seem as though I have any time for much else, I only really see 2 or 3 of my friends a week, I remember back in the day when like 10-20 of us would just go out and chill and just act the fool, now it seems like I only see them type of people maybe once every 2 months.
But nobody said that success came easy!

MIC GALPER

It seems as though I haven't blogged about music in quite a while; so I think it's about time that I did!

In my opinion this kid could go far; his lyrics are sharp and has some crazy metaphors going on, so just check him out people.

DAMN WEATHER.

It seems almost mandatory for me to talk about the weather at least once; I am British.

We complain when it's too hot, we complain when it's too cold!
You just can't win with us British people.

But when it rains it's a whole other story.
Any of you that drive know that driving in the rain can be a pain in the arse at times...

I'm not gonna mention any names but today "Friend X" was driving along in a flash sports car, with his father riding as passenger.
He was driving in the rain in a rear-wheel drive car which isn't always the best idea; but the car gave no signs of problems until it just spun out of control; rear end first.
The car spun 3 times and was only stopped by a lampost.
Luckily, there were only minor injuries...as for the car...


"Clunk, click; every trip!"

LACK OF BLOGGING...

Yea I been a hella busy lately...so I'm gonna try get on this as much as possible for my people!

I've apparentley heard that summer is coming...so we get like 2 or 3 days of sun then it pisses it down with rain?!
