ITALY - DAY 6

So today was game day in Rimini and the weather was good!

With Cam out of the game due to injury; me and him watched the game from the sidelines in the VIP area.

You know that Cam still had to get his feet on the court and showcase them Likuid Nation jeans!

They straight fire!!!

If you guys haven't figured this out yet; Cam and Mike are a hella close off-court as well as on court, and that's who we spend the majority of our time with!

Cam also plays alongside Carlton Myers; a somewhat living legend when it comes to Italian basketball

Here is Cam with Andrea; he works alongside Armani and other large designer goods in that bracket, and he helped hook the link up for Cam to get the Likuid Nation jeans manufactured by the same people who make D&G jeans.

I took so many photos of the in-game action that I don't wanna put them on here as it would take up way too much RAM on people's computer's just viewing the page!

So it was a good win for the Crabs with the game being full of action; some sick dunks/blocks

After the game we went out for some food; and I snapped a few pics

I know Mike's gonna kill me for this!!

The owner of the restaurant is a big Crabs fan and always shows us mad love whenever we come here; and Cam and Mike even stopped to take a picture.

There was also a pic of Cam up in the place.

I've had this liquor before; and it only means DEATH!!

ITALY - DAY 5

Day 5 in Rimini was wet and miserable.

Cam didn't have training as today (Day 6) was game day so we spent the majority of the day in bed (not together!) then we just chilled out at the apartment.

It came to around 8pm and we got a call from a few friends to go to the Chinese takeaway so we took them up on this proposal.

This Chinese takeaway wasn't like the ones back home at all; it had little gifts to buy and was very nice inside.

Then we got back and Cam finally got round to showing me his bracelet that he's had a lil while and showed me pictures over Skype.

Holding this thing...I must say it's absolutely beautiful!

Unfortunately people...that's all that day 5 really consisted of!

ITALY - DAY 4

For all of you that are wondering where Day 3 went; well basically Day 3 I didn't get out of bed until about 2pm and then all we did was go to training and then for some food...oh and I didn't bring my camera!

So here is Day 4.

Cam getting his power stride on to the car; Holdall 55 and Jordans are a MUST

Before going to training; Cam had to go to the athletes rehab centre for his heel injury where he received some laser treatment for his heel

Training today was at the new stadium; somewhere where I haven't been before, and I must say; it sure is a whole lot bigger and nicer than the old one!

Oh and Cam finally got back into training; much to the delight of his teammates and fans!

And again; big bad Michael Bernard bullying me with these rude hand gestures hahaa

I got a couple action shots of the team in training :)

After training we went to eat at this joint; I forgot it's name and didn't take any shots inside, but the outside deck sure was nice!

Day 4 was a short day; but tomorrow is Saturday which means it'll probably get messy at night!

Va$htie X Big Sean by Dante Marshall

Photographer Dante Marshall (who also directed Sean's Supa Dupa Lemonade video) recently had the task of doing this photoshoot of Big Sean and renowned video director Va$htie Kola.

The idea behind the photoshoot was to make it look as though they were a celebrity couple being followed by the press.

To me these photo's came out really really well but almost remind me of a modern day John F Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe type affair.

Sean is one of my favourite rappers if not my actual favourite artist out there right now and surely doesn't get the praise he deserves.

And Va$htie in my opinion is quite simply one of the most beautiful women in the world, well and truly "Downtown's Sweetheart"

ITALY - DAY 2

I woke up kinda late yesterday; so I missed out on early morning training with Cam.

When he got back however; we went down to the mall to get some food.

The McDonalds over here had the nicest burger; I think it was called the McCrispy Bacon, damn that was nice!

Despite this mall being so much bigger than a lot of the ones I've been to back home, I still feel a sense of tranquility walking through and a relaxed atmosphere and there aren't any people rushing about like there is back home.

I thought that the shopping trolleys were super cool and a lot less noisy than the clanky metal ones we have back in England too!

Rimini Crabs gave all the players these cars as part of the sponsorship deal. I mean the cars might not look a lot but they are comfy as you will find and spacious enough for all them 6'5" players!

Speaking of cars; I've seen loads of these Maybach impersonating cars around, and I'm still quite not sure what make of vehicle these are, so if you know; help a guy out!

Later on that night we went out for chinese food and you know being with Cam that business never stops! Even checking his iPhone around the dinner table!

Then even the water bottles were Likuid Nation inspired; Say Hello Cam!!

Our fortune cookies were a mixture; I came out with "Humility Suits Everyone!" smh.

After the food we went into the City Centre where I took a few pictures of original Roman building structures still left!

It's kinda crazy when you think about how many years these things have been standing; then it upsets you when you see people vandalizing them!

This wasn't the only cool thing in this bar; there was also a spray paint-painting from an Italian artist named Eron who makes spray paint look like traditional paintings and you can see his stuff HERE

Now one of the first things I'll ask someone when they're tryna do their own thing and show it to me is "What's so different about it?"

And now most of the stuff I'm seeing people are putting out is exactly the same shit as everyone else's shit!

And hell yeah I'm knockin people for this! Don't falsely advertise yourself! Talkin bout "its dope" cos you got an old ass pic on there

My blog got my personal emotions and feelings and experiences in life on here; whether it be good or bad; shit that other people done that's effected me, intentionally or unintentionally; shit there be people that don't even know I exist that have effected me but it's still personal!

I don't blog for giant reactions or shit like that; I blog cos I like getting out what I do and how I feel etc, and if people like it well then that's a bonus! I'm just me and I'm not going for the Maestro Knows or Bongo Boy craze shit people be going for; no disrespect AT ALL!

I just feel that a lot of people think cos they dress a certain way or know a certain few people that they feel they MUST act in this way or be treated in a certain manner; I'm 17 and get the same respect in some places as 35 year olds! I don't ask for that; it's just who I am; if you were to ask me what I was I'd say "I'm a grown ass kid who's been granted great opportunities" I ain't nothing special YET so don't be talkin down to me or up to me; speak to me on a level because RESPECT IS MUTUAL. ITALY - DAY 1 PART 2

So I got back to Cam's crib after the train ride, had some food or whatever, then it was straight back out to go training with the Rimini Crabs.

Cam signed to these guys in the summer and was an instant hit with fans and teammates.

I had to get my munch on!

Oh and my 'Jam' on ;)

Here's big bad Mike Bernard; you've probably thought you've SEEN HIM BEFORE...but nah that's a different guy!

Cam had to get some physiotherapy on his heel that he messed up a lil while back; and from these videos you can see that in the Rimini Crabs physio room; you're more likely to pick up an injury haha!

Then after going out for some pizza; it was back to Cam's crib for more work work work...

ITALY - DAY 1 PART 1

So as promised I'm keeping you updated with my travels.

The coach ride down to London took us 8 HOURS due to various stop offs and reckless driving from who else than...the driver.

So yeah I arrived at Stansted around 12am with my flight not being until 6:30am.

With no internet it was strictly up to my BlackBerry and various films I ripped onto my hard drive; Hangover was the first film of choice and thus earned me several strange looks from people thinking what I was laughing at!

I put my camera down for a little while and managed to get 2 hours sleep on the plane; after being awake since 7am Monday morning.

I arrived in Italy and had to take pictures of this sweet little continental food shop...

And my cappuccino and food etc...

Driving through the streets of Bologna I found out that it is quite a cultured city; something I haven't ever seen before due to the fact it's usually just straight onto the motorway and on to Rimini.

Now it was time for me to get on the train and begin my journey to Rimini.

How often do you see snow in Italy in February?!

It was kinda weird seeing this kinda stuff

This has came as somewhat of a shock to me.

This studio is truly one of the greatest studios in the world and some real big pieces of musical history were recorded here.

I would have one day have liked to recorded/played my beats in this building just like the greats in the game have!

To add insult to injury; the studios are not only closing down, but being knocked down so can't even be used as a museum such as Abbey Road.

I use the term "new" loosely because the shoe resembles the Clarks Desert Boot sooo much it's untrue!

Nonetheless; it's still a very good shoe and no doubt will beat every other competitor quality-wise...

But quality comes with a price; at £440 the Louis Vuitton Herald High boot is far from a shoe to buy on a daily basis!

This song brings me back to 2002; I was 10 years old when this came out and I love it still to this day.

This unlikely combination made sure this song stuck in my head!

ONE FOOT OUT THE DOOR REVIEW

Here is my review on the big homie Mike Posner's mixtape "One Foot Out The Door"

The Mike Posner "One Foot Out The Door" is this multi-talented college student's second mixtape this year.

His first mixtape entitled "A Matter of Time" led him to being signed by none other than Marty Bandier of Sony Records.

Mike, a modest college student aged just 21, explains his life as "Living the dream" and often balances college life with touring and doing performances each weekend.

It is Mike's Sophomore mixtape (Mike describes it as a 'mini-album') that is truly impressing. Listening to the 2 mixtapes back to back really gives the listener of how much this guy has developed throughout this turbulent year.

The production on this second tape is mainly Posner himself, with names such as Block Beattaz, Benny Blanco, 3OH!3, Gigamesh and Clinton Sparks also appearing on the production credits (Sparks presented the mixtape)

The mixtape features collaborations from artists such as KiD CuDi, 3OH!3, Bun B, XV and Posner's friend, G.O.O.D Music signee and Detroit native Big Sean.

Listening to this mixtape you can feel the quality oozing through your speakers, hence explaining why Mike calls this mixtape a 'mini album', with the production being none less than expected from a mixtape presented to you by Clinton Sparks.

A couple of the songs on this tape relate to Mike's crazy journey over this year, especially "Speed of Sound" which features a sweet verse from Big Sean; explaining how as Mike puts it as "I got a hundred million numbers inside of my phone, and I still got no-one to call" which really gives a listener a reality check that the music you're listening to is from a 21 year old student who shot to success just 5 weeks after releasing his first tape.

Also featuring on Mike's mixtape is a remix of Soulja Boy's "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" which features Saigon, and this version of the song is surprisingly un-corny; unlike the original. The production and recording process behind this song can be seen on Mike Posner's YouTube page (The majority of this mixtape was created in Posner's college dorm)

All in all; this mixtape is actually way more than a mixtape. As said by Clinton Sparks on one of the skits "We're practically giving away an album already" which is why everybody should go download this 'One Foot Out The Door' mixtape and Mike's freshman mixtape 'A Matter of Time' to truly get a feel of this young man's versatility, diversity and creative talents.

Mike's debut album is also coming in 2010 so keep an eye out for that.

This week I have chose the Adidas Originals Star Wars Collection "Storm Trooper"

I just love the simplicity yet complexity of this sneaker; with the nice white with the black highlights but then the detail on it such as the raised stripes and the small detail on the front of the toe.

This is by far my favorite shoe from the Adidas X Star Wars collection, despite it being a hi-top which I have been thrown off by recently due to the masses and masses of people wearing them.

Just a quick little subject that sprung to my mind.

In my DJ class we're being taught to DJ using the Pioneer CDJ 1000 Mk. 3

Whatever happened to the good old Technics SL1210???

Is this the end of an era? And if it is; what comes next?

I know a few DJ's that still mix using vinyl, and even they are saying it's getting harder and harder to find records on vinyl , but the biggest fear for me is that these DJ's are real Hip-Hop DJ's!

So is this marking the end of an era within the Hip-Hop music community?

And started a new one of course!

We pretty much specialize in broadcasting people's creative talents, and I am the co-chief editor, but more on that later.

For the lack of blogging again; everything just seems to be coming my way all at once!

Of course we have all heard about the sudden tragic death of the great Michael Jackson and I admit; it got me a hella down about it.

On the up hand I guess; I've been accepted to do my music course next year, so the ball starts rolling from here I guess.

I've got some big news coming up for you guys soon...let's just say it's gonna be "G.O.O.D" ;)

There's also the possibilty of a sneaker coming soon but not too much can be said about that because it's only on paper right now.

I've also decided to get a twitter account, and if it wasn't for that my good luck probably wouldn't ever have came my way!

A whole lotta stuff for me to do; just doesn't seem as though I have any time for much else, I only really see 2 or 3 of my friends a week, I remember back in the day when like 10-20 of us would just go out and chill and just act the fool, now it seems like I only see them type of people maybe once every 2 months.
But nobody said that success came easy!

It seems almost mandatory for me to talk about the weather at least once; I am British.

We complain when it's too hot, we complain when it's too cold!
You just can't win with us British people.

But when it rains it's a whole other story.
Any of you that drive know that driving in the rain can be a pain in the arse at times...

I'm not gonna mention any names but today "Friend X" was driving along in a flash sports car, with his father riding as passenger.
He was driving in the rain in a rear-wheel drive car which isn't always the best idea; but the car gave no signs of problems until it just spun out of control; rear end first.
The car spun 3 times and was only stopped by a lampost.
Luckily, there were only minor injuries...as for the car...

I got my Air Yeezys!
It was a long ass train ride and a log ass day for me!
Waking up at 4:30 for my train isn't a good look!
But I guess travelling 1st class ain't too shabby!

I arrived at the Nike Sportswear Store, 1948 at around 10:30am Friday morning surprised to see around 10 people already there.
The guy at the front of the line had been there since around 7:30am!
It was a long day, I didn't sleep at all!

It came to around 8:30pm and the store manager came out and issued us with numbered tickets due to the fact that we wasn't able to stay outside the store because of complications with the council!

I got number 13, luckily enough though; I'm not suspicious!

It was a long night around London town trying to find somewhere to stay, but I ended up just going around central for a bit, and then eventually ended up posted up in St. Pancras station until the tubes started running at around 6am the next morning.

I arrived back at Nike 1948 at about 6:30am Saturday, surprised to see new faces sitting at the front of the line; with rumours that the numbered ticket system was just a scandal to move us along from the store front.

The shop was due to open at 10:30am, but because of the queue and other things, I didn't get in to get the Yeezy's until about 11:10am!

It was a long, long wait but it was well worth it.
Over 24 hours waiting for a pair of shoes and I endured a day that was about 34 hours before I slept!

N*E*R*D frontman and music extraordianire Pharrell Williams is pictured here with both arms wrapped up after undergoing LASER SURGERY.

The BBC BLOG reports that there was "no skin graft here, just pure laser pain" and also said that "Laser is the new primer"...suggesting that Pharrell has undergone laser surgery and had his tattoo's removed; to make place for new ones!

These now dismiss claims that Pharrell was growing skin for a new skin graft to cover up his tattoo's (see here)

Nike have just opened up a new showroom in Taipei, named TPE 6453.
Its an ultra-cool boutique and showroom, with a special room named "Room 72" on the 2nd floor of the store.

The 2nd floor of the space is Nike’s “ROOM 72,” a product lounge designed for A-list celebrities, and influencers from all over the world. After the opening night, this "Room 72" will only be accesible by invite only. It is inside this "Room 72" where Nike are showcasing the latest Air Yeezy colourway, only known so far as the "concert colourway". This is probably because this is awfully similar to the original Air Yeezy colourway that kanYe was seen to be wearing on the 2008 "Glow in the Dark Tour"

The Evidence has long time been a favourite with rappers, actors (yeah he livin a lie!), and just people that can afford them in general.
I personally am a fan of them, but I think Louis Vuitton may have overstepped their boundaries with this one!

Replacing the classic black colourway with the inverse of white, is somewhat crazy!

It looks very tacky, and very "Aiya Napa Raver" style, rather than the high class, suave expensive looking frame of the last classic model.

Well, I went down there, a long drive, and I'd suffered due to the lack of sleep the previous night (puking up whilst on the M1 ain't a good look!)

Once we arrived in London, we were quite fortunate that not THAT many people had turned up!

Either way, we queued for about 4 and a half hours, I was number 52 in line!

With only 100 books being released in this country, I made sure that I had a place to go get mine!

I don't really know what else to say, Nigo is a really cool, quiet and mellow dude.
Seems really nice, and despite the language barrier, I still managed to communicate with him through the love of Bape and also my little japanese that I speak :D

I've known Tate for about a year now, through a mutual passion for basketball we were able to build our friendship.
When we first started playing ball, Tate and me were on about the same level...geesh how I'd like to say that now!
After playing a season for Huddersfield Heat alongside me, Tate moved to Huddersfield New College Academy, a bit of a controversial move, but this video shows that it was a right one, obviously under the watchful eye of coach Bellafonte, Tate has developed into an excellent and promising basketball player.
I just hope everything goes well for you playboy.

Casa Butus magazine recentley had the opportunity to go look into (in my eyes) one of the sickest cribs in the world.

It was none other than Bathing Ape headman Nigo®'s crib.

I gotta say, Nigo has got some mad installations in his house, like his glass garage for example.

And all the toys in that crib! WOW!

Also, that life-sized colonel Saunders is crazy...I think Taran may say that I should have it in my house =]

He got some crazy kaws stuff too...I mean...A LOT.

First off, I get rejected from my desired college...3 days before I'm meant to start!

Then, I go to a party, and OMG...I get fuckin shitfaced...then throw up :/

When I finally find a different college to go to...I realise that I'm only 1 of 4 black kids in the whole college! (WHAT'S ALL THAT ABOUT?!)
